Hi there 👋, I'm Sami. I have over 9 years of experience writing software, and during that time, I have been fortunate enough to live in Paris, London, Munich, and Singapore 🌍. This has given me the opportunity to work with individuals from various cultural and professional backgrounds, an experience for which I am extremely grateful. I consider myself a 'full stack data scientist' with a keen interest in large scale data platforms, distributed systems, infrastructure, and machine learning.

I contributed to the development of a fraud detection system at Axa's Data Innovation Lab, crafted a recommendation engine for a startup, engineered a sophisticated streaming engine for Thales, and played a role in building the payment infrastructure for Southeast Asia with Xendit (YC15). I occasionnaly consult for startups and companies regarding their data infrastructure and machine learning projects.
